Coffee & Rum Liqueur
Our Coffee & Rum liqueur takes a new approach. We wanted to combine the experience of a sippable rum with the delicate flavors of custom roasted coffee. We roasted 3 types of green coffee beans at the distillery: Ethiopian Agaro & Yirga Cheffe and Rwandan Rulindo. Delicate & fruity coffee flavors meld beautifully with the esters of a house-made turbinado-focused rum. We aged the rum in used whiskey barrels for four months prior to blending.
Tasting Notes: Nose is floral & sweet coffee top notes minus bitterness with rum aromatics. On the palate you'll find delicate & fruity coffee flavors melding beautifully with the esters of a house-made turbinado-focused barrel-aged rum. Subtle notes of vanilla, cocoa, and rose petals round out the flavors. Mildly sweet. Finishes with candied coffee, cherry and brown sugar.
